I admit I have an ice cream addiction....... especially when it is hot outside and I have been on the lake all day! I popped in here one night to grab a couple scoops of ice cream to go. I was excited to see they had Circus Animal Cookie ice cream flavor........... so freakin' good. One of my favorites but hard to find! Also the Banana Nut it great too! So I came back a total of 3 times last week. A different girl was working each time....... one was super friendly, the other 2 seemed bored to be there. But it's all about the Thrifty ice cream at this place. $3.20 for 2 scoops........ can't be beat! Try the Circus Animal Cookie!

The best way to cool off in Arizona is with Cady and Coles' shaved ice and ice cream Malts. In our four stay visit we had to stop by twice just to get our fix of ice cream.

I feel like the party pooper here, my family and I went here to get some ice cream and weren't that impressed as the ice cream wasn't vey good. We recently went to Scoops and it was AMAZING, but since we walk from the boat thought we'd give this closer place a go. The employee was a little rude when she misunderstood what my son ordered saying "I guess I'll remake it" sorry you didn't hear us clear enough but it's not that difficult to put ice cream in a cone. Needless to say we won't be returning.

The prices are good, the flavors are endless, and everything so far has been really good! The lines so get a little long, and it doesn't seem like the people are in a rush to get your order taken, but everyone is really nice and helpful. I used the yelp coupon which is buy a shaved ice and get a regular size for free. Really good shaved ice and there were too many flavors to pick from. The regular size was a perfect size and a really good deal since it was free. I come here every time I'm in Havasu!

Love this place! Can't go wrong with thrifty ice cream. Great shakes. Had the Carmel apple arctic ice (the one with snow cone and ice cream) and it was really good!

This is my favorite place to go for ice cream with my family. The selection is what really draws me there. You can get regular ice cream, Thriftys style ice-cream, snow cones, smoothies, shakes, blizzard style shakes. I can take my family there and everyone gets exactly what they want. The staff has always been professional and nice. I would give five stars but the place needs to be a little more clean. Every time I go in I want to mop the floors and wipe down the tables. Small price to pay for a great selection ice cream and cold treats!

Man, any place that sells old school Thrifty Ice Cream is ok in my book. I love the ice cream, yogurt, and other cool treat options. I love the super hero figurines and other memorabilia behind the counter, and I love how inexpensive everything is. My only complaint is the outdated decor. The benches/tables inside look to be made of unfinished particle board, and outside seating is limited to plastic chairs and tables. If they raised the prices by a dollar, and took the profits to update their ambiance, I'd still be happy. What could have been 5 stars is sadly only a 4, due to the outdated/unfinished tables, chairs, and benches.

I am a shaved ice aficionado. I absolutely love the stuff and have tried various cultural versions of the stuff just about everywhere I get the opportunity. While on business in town. I was hot, thirsty and needed a pick me up. When I did my Yelp shaved ice search this appeared. This place is no ordinary Water and Ice store. Holy smokes! They have several {Thrifty Brand} Ice Cream flavors and a seemingly unlimited selection of shaved ice flavors. You could also MIX the two, if you dare. The price is SUPER reasonable and the service is spot on! I enjoyed this place so much that I stopped in here before my road trip back home and picked up a large shaved ice for the road. [So on this trip I went 2 days in a row.] Next time I am in town I am going here, my new LH tradition!!

Remember Thrifty ice cream! It reminds me of the old days. Check it out the next time you are in Havasu!

They have lots of choices. But, the thrifty ice cream is stale. The service is slow, with no sense of urgency or friendliness. I've been here twice and not even the cheap price of ice will bring me back. Gotta-hav-a soft serve is more expensive, but their stuff is awesome. (Even if they only have a few choices, at least it tastes fresh.)

They have thrifty ice cream and amazing snow cones with tons of flavors unlike any other place in Havasu. Been to other similar stores and the flavoring is horrible. Only go here!!!

Simple. Affordable. Tasty old school Thrifty ice cream. Good service. Clean business. Well air-conditioned. For what it is, as good as it gets.

This is a franchise, one of 3 in this town, tho each is owned by different people. This particular one we visited once while walking back from investigating the town. It is clean, and in a fairly easy location to find. The prices are more expensive than we pay at a Rite Aid store with an ice cream counter, but cheaper than some of the other ice cream stores in this town. They also have all the regularly offered Thrifty flavors as well as the ones usually just offered seasonally and some we have never heard of. They have their version of the Dairy Queen Blizzard, soft serve ice cream, malts and shakes. The soft serve was only in Chocolate or vanilla and is used for the "Blizzards". I had the Blizzard drink with brownie pieces, vanilla soft serve ice cream, chopped peanuts, caramel and hot fudge sauce. The Brownie pieces were terrible, almost bitter and stale tasting. I ended up straining the drink with my lips to avoid getting any of the brownie. However, other than that, the drink was good. My spouse had a sherbet flavor of pineapple, cherry and lemon along with a scoop of cookies and cream on a regular cone. He thot the sherbet, a new flavor for him, was very good. The teen working there was disengaged and bored. When my spouse asked her a question and even repeated it, she kept scooping but never answered. They charge $.25 for credit card use.

The owner is awesome. My kids always spill everywhere and he is completely cool. The flavors of shaved ice are great and they have a good choice of other items in the store. Definitely the best place for shaved ice in town!

Located in the Old 31 Flavors spot. This is the best Ice Cream Store in Havasu. The name and signage kinda throws you off though. I think alot of people would miss this place all together. The have probably 40 flavors or more. Thrifty Brand and one other that I can't remember. The prices are good too. Most times I have been in here there is a guy manager that is super friendly and seems to keep things running smoothly. There are a few tables inside if you want to eat it here. Kinda tight though because they got all kinds of other stuff here too. Like candies, some of the vintage drug store kind too. And, like some cheap toys, like gliders and junk like that! Cool! Also, Shaved Ice, Smoothies and all night Towing. OKAY, no all night towing but this place has got alot going on here. Check it out!

When I first saw a water store went in the 31 flavors location, my first reaction was how are they going to survive. As a curiosity we stopped by a couple of years ago and have been going back ever since. Besides serving Thrifty's Ice Cream( I love chocolate malted crunch) they have a great selection of old time candies. My daughter loves the shaved ice. They also have there take on a Dairy Queen Blizzard. I found out they have like 40 locations, so they know what they are doing. Staff is always friendly. A great place to stop on a hot day.

It was summer of '09. We'd been on the boat all day with highs in the 120's. I started to hit the wall from heat irritation and got a little nasty with the driver when I realized I wasn't cooling down in the car with the AC blasting. It wasn't a proud moment. I can't remember if I was dumped at the doorstep of Water & Ice, or if I asked to be let out. Needless to say, once I walked in and saw the choices: smoothies, Thrifty ice cream, vintage candy...SHAVED ICE? I'm not above throwing down a giant cup of shaved ice drenched in bubble gum-flavored syrup. It's perfect for Havasu.

I can't believe I have grown up in Havasu and never have discovered this wonderful little place. I love the ice cream (especially chocolate malted crunch, and the best birthday cake ice-cream I have ever had.) They carry old fashioned candy and Jones Soda. This sweet older women works everytime I go in there. The best, and least expensive ice cream in town.

We bring the kids here all the time when in town. They have tons of flavored ice cream and shaved ice. The girls behind the counter are friendly and have all been working their a long time. Throw back to your childhood, they also have a load of old school candy to treat yourself to. My only complaint is the cleanliness. It's always dirty on the floor, trash can has permanent caked on gunk for the ice cream and the tables are seldom wiped down. Makes me wonder about the kitchen!?

There is a sweet treat here to please every soul! There are so many flavors of icecream, softserve and shaved ice to get something different everyday in the summer. The prices are more than reasonable and it's just a fun place.
